Volunteer

Every year there are a number of opportunities for you to come back to CSM and serve. Volunteers are an essential part of moving the mission of The Collegiate School of Memphis forward. Below are just a few of the ways you can get involved as a volunteer. 

  • As a way to prepare CSM scholars for college success, 9th Grade Foundations students practice their job interview skills by putting together resumes and participating in mock interviews with faculty, staff, and Collegiate community members during the fall semester.

  • A piece of our mission is to prepare scholars for college success and one way that we aim to achieve that is by exposing our students to different career opportunities. The CSM Lunch and Learn provides a networking avenue for our students to connect to leaders and experts in the Memphis community so that they can ask questions and see what potential lies ahead of them after high school. If you’re interested in learning more about how you can be a guest speaker at our Lunch and Learn program click here to reach out.

  • To help seniors transition to their life after high school we send new grads off to college with laundry baskets full of dorm room essentials, along with a small gift card for the needs we can’t predict. In the spring these baskets are organized and prepared to be presented at the CSM Senior Signing Night.

  • Multiple classes at Collegiate request alumni to return to share with high school scholars about the college experience.

CSM Alumni Board Committee

The CSM Alumni Board Committee exists as a subcommittee of the CSM Board of Directors and  regularly throughout the year to fulfill three primary objectives:

  • Consider CSM mission fulfillment from the perspective of an alumni

  • Alumni outreach, engagement, and communication

  • Leadership development for alumni committee members
